My name is Catherine and I have been reborning dolls for 8 years years now. Like all of the other artists out there, I first discovered reborns on Ebay and fell in love. I just had to find out how to make these wonderful dolls and to recreate them into real looking babies or toddlers.

I am married and we have five beautiful children. I am a stay at home mom and in addition to creating reborns I also sew. I make bodies and outfits for these beautiful dolls using real baby patterns. I even create my own baby fashions. I started sewing in 1971. My beautiful Mom bought my first pattern for Barbie and it has been a wonderful experience ever since. Thank you Mom!

I took a great deal of pride in my reborns and if I felt it wasn't just perfect, I did not sell it. I started out reborning the Berenguer dolls and then branched out into Sheila Michael and many of the Ashton Drake dolls... and then move on to the reborn kits by Bountiful Baby, Simply Reborn Artists, Dolls so Real, Doll Dreams, Sandie's Doll Kits and many other kits available on the market.

I can no longer Reborn for sales. I only reborn for special occasions and special people. I was diagnosed with severe nerve damage in my neck and damage to three of my discs in my upper and lower spine. I am no longer allowed to root heads, which I love. My focus will be on Sewing and selling my OOAK (One Of A Kind) creations for Reborns and Newborn. This way I can still stay with what I love, Reborns and Newborn babies.
